Well I have been trying to find a surround sound headset system that works for a ps3, however most headsets are USB and require drivers. Something the ps3 doesn't allow you to install. So kinda limited. Well i eventually stumbled upon this, it uses the optic cables on the back of the ps3 to run the game and reviews seem half and half. Some people using it on computer say it doesn't work properly while most console users saying it works fine. So....seeing how there are millions of gamers on here.....does it work well? I mean is the sound qaulity really good?

I've been using the Turtle Beach Earforce X4 head phones and they're good. They're made for the 360 but they work fine with the PS3 as long as you don't mind not having the use of the mouthpiece.

A little bit out of my price range ( up to 120 for me) and the wireless thing throws me off. I would never replace the batteries i hate doing that...

As for not being able to use the mic, i don't really mind. I have a PS eye that picks up every whisper i say from 10 feet and im right next to it. I Just have the audio go straight into the headset.

Shit well im in college right now and have to head to my next class. If anyone can tell me if these are good or recomend me a pair like twesterm would be greatly apreciated.
