So I take you read my post, and assumed that simple sixaxis controls were all Kilzone 2 has to offer?

The game is also one of the rare few FPSes that has an entirely first person cover system, and the Warzone system for multiplayer is quite different from other shooters out there.  There's also the weighty controls that give the game a feel unlike any FPS I've yet played.

Your sad attempts to troll the game are getting qutie annoying.

Keep hyping the game, and not allowing anyone else to go against your opinion. I am trying to bring balance to all the KZ2 GAME OF THE DECADE threads

 

 

I'm fine with differing opinions.  However, when somebody's opinion is completely unfounded, and it's obvious they have very little knowledge of the subject of which they are discussing, it's annoying.

Dislike the game all you want.  Just have a legitimite reason for disliking it.

Its not that its on PS3. Its actually because it has a chance of failing due to its intense overhype. Lair was overhyped like crazy and it flopped, Sonic 2006 was overhyped GREATLY and it flopped GREATLY. That is the reason. KZ2 has so much hype as the 3rd coming of Jesus.

Call me when we get "Game Fuel", TV midnight launch and some Killzone 2 collectors edition SLURPEE cups at my local 7-11.

You know what Halo 3 and Killzone 2 have in common? Both had betas that people really enjoyed. It's funny when you see comparisons to Lair and Sonic (wtf?) when there wasn't even a beta. It's hilarious to see people try to tear down a game against people that have PLAYED IT.

why am I excited about KZ2? Because I played hundreds of hours on just 3 levels in the beta and was extremely sad when it ended. You can't call true excitement overhype. You can disagree with my opinion (and the plethora of others, not to mention the great reviews coming in already), but to tell me that being excited about the game is overhype? Ridiculous.

You can't counterbalance positive opinions (like some idiots are trying to do because they have placed too much importance on themselves) when you haven't played it and others have.  The attempt to do so is called trolling.

Well... this was a train wreck... I've also stopped keeping track of why people are buying the game, simply because of the idiotic posts by some users trolling all over this thread.

@Jo21 I know about the beta, but was everything about it not changed... Some changes could have made the experience both better and worse... He should have elaborated... Also I was attempting to get people who just say /thread to avoid posting in this one... A simple misunderstanding... :P

Hyping something doesn't kill a game, Bad Gameplay and a Bad Storyline kills a game, which were the cases with both of your examples.
