Burnout Paradise works very well online. If you host the game yourself, you can select from all the different play types and compete against each other. I thought the online sucked until I hosted the game myself and found out all the things you can kick off and try to accomplish.

I also doubt MAG is Q2 09. There is no way that Sony has such a massive game this close to release and we don't even know if it is a FPS or TPS.

I thought they annouced at their big E3 presentation that MAG was a FPS.

well, acording to the OP we don't know. I personally haven't been paying attention to the game, since I figured it wouldn't be out til 2010 anyways.

The new IP from Zipper, they previously made the very popular online game Socom.  You can ask airstrikes, drive tanks, jump out of airplanes, be tactical with your squad. Its not clear if the game is a FPS or TPS but one thing is for sure this will be absolutely amazing.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

lol thanks. its just that i want to be very conservative with money, so i dont want to wast 50-60 bucks on a game with no replay value.

I remember back at E3 a Sony rep was asked how MAG was coming along and he replied saying that MAG was smoothly running with 256 players online and that it had made excellent progress. I wish I could find a link for it, but I think this game might come out earlier than expected, although Q2 2009 is still a bit much.
