Its normal one which come with DSL kit, i never used it until router was broken.

I didn't know how to use the knife the whole game. Is it up on the d-pad? The one thing that is most frustrating about the game is that enemies are deadly accurate and the rifle is really shitty when your character uses it. I just burst 1 or 2 shots now to hold accuracy. It's also annoying because it's like whack-a-mole when you wait for one guy to pop up and another guy does instead, and then you go to aim at the standing guy who promptly shits back down behind cover and the other one pops up again. AARRRGGGHHHHHHH

Well at the moment only EU guys seem to be must active, unless US officers (they suck) can organize something for you. Then it will be better to have match on time in which EU guys can also play.

who are the US officers? And how do I become one if they are unavailable?

it is left or right on the d-pad. I can't believe you didn't use the knife!!! It is the second best weapon in the game, besides the electricty gun of course. You won't be able to beat the game on elite without using it.

The part that I bolded: the rifle is fine, you just have to get used to using it how someone in real life would use it. Burst fire gets it done, no solider in any army besides untrained insurgents hold down the trigger. You HAVE to use burst fire or it gets really inaccurate.

As for the whack a mole part, haha, you need to "out think" them. Ok here goes, Both enemies start behind cover. You want to draw out one of them, but not the other. Target one of them, but he is not really your target the other guy is. Take one or two shots and then quickly turn your gun to the other guy. He should pop up to give covering fire. KILL him before he gets a chance to take a shot.

is knife really that good? I've been using the rifle slap, which did pretty well.

I've tried that psych out thing before to no avail. I didn't give it much time thought, so maybe now that I know it worked for you, I will be able to fully dedicate myself to the strategy.
what threw me off about the rifle is that I can normally burst a 6-7 shot in Multiplayer without any trouble at long ranges. As long as that red target thing appears, they all go in the right place.
