I would take electrical shocks everytime I died. That would make the game more intense. Plus, if it was implemented online then it would be an awesome feeling, knowing that every kill equals a shock to the enemy (or friend).

btw, electrical shocks don't hurt. I've taken lots of 440V shocks purposefully and it's a weird yet cool feeling

electrical shock can be very dangerous but there are a couple factors that make a big difference.

1) voltage doesn't really matter too much. Static shock is felt at ~2000V or higher

2) DC tends to be more fatal as your muscles tense up and have no oportunity to relax. If you grab a DC supply you may not be able to let go, where as with an AC supply you at least have a chance.

3) Amperage is the big factor. As I noted above, 2000V is where you feel static shock, but the amperage is so low it would never really hurt you. However, power supplies like high voltage batteries and power lines can supply more than enough to kill you.

4) if the current isn't going across your heart (hand to hand goes across the heart, where as if you grab something with 1 hand it may just be traveling from 1 finger to the other) you are far less likely to die

so yea, if they sat in a chair that supplied electric shock every time they died with low amperage it would be perfectly safe and totally cool

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I stuck a 110V-220V converter into a 220V plug on purpose so that I can get 440V. Then I put in a plug halfway into the converter. I stuck my thumbs between the bare pins. I did it lots of times.  :)

the current is only going across your thumb then, and you are relatively safe. I'll be laughing pretty hard when I read a news article about you though.

I think the electrical shots would be good for team kill.  People might put on some glasses ;)

LOL!

Dying due to a shock whilst being a team-killer is cool. What would you rather do? Die of a heart-attack due to the tons of junk food you've gulped during your full-day gaming sprees, or die valiantly and honourably with your thumb stuck between the pins of a 440V plug and your ps3 screen full with your teammates' curses?

Regular site maintenance.  It will be back in about 20 minutes, according to what I have experienced two wednesdays in the past

afbdksabdafbvuefsjndcjksdnb.... I'm the biggest victim of team-kills. Leonidus and non-gravity know all about it.

last night I was playing through my 7th game of pistols only, only to be disconnected in the final 3 minutes. 76valor and 3 badges were lost.
