Ah, I understand. That's a sentiment we share and I'm sure many others do as well.

And no offense taken. I own all 3 *current gen* consoles and enjoy them all. I just don't like it when people underplay any of them so obviously. But I can see where you're coming from when dealing with fanboys as you do with those statements.

the first 2 no ps3 fanboy should go into ronster but the 3rd one seems very open for debate. if you said xbox is the cheapest console id see no reason but best value is an open ended statement, its a matter of oppinion. whereas cheapest is what it is.

whats wrong is its just flat irritating. I love the ps3 and games with it just as much as any other fanboy but you are just flat setting yourself up for disappointment. Every ps3 fanboy needs to stop and realize that your system and games will never live up to the hype of the wii or 360 based solely on sales.  What the fuck happened to buy consoles and playing games for the sheer FUN OF IT.  Just be informative of flat out STFU.  This applies to everyone on these forums including myself.  PLAY, BUY, AND DISCUSS FOR THE FUN OF IT.

i agree sega made and continues to make good stuff. even to this day what they did on the dreamcast would be considered innovative and original ive seen nothing like those memory cards they had for the dreamcast that doubled as gameboy-like things was very creative. i guess to an extent you could say ps3 used a similar idea with the psp and took it farther. But PSPs are a bit too much for me

Sony is trying new things in games like LBP or Heavy Rain. And investing in impressive graphics engines. Let's hype a little, I don't see anything wrong. That's publicity for them. The bad part is that sometimes these games dissapoint based on very high and unreallistic expectations.

 I had a PSP and a DS, but gaming on the move just sort of wore off eventually.

Might get a PSP again one day, last games i played on my old psp were virtua tennis 3 and metal gear portable ops.

I see nothing wrong with hyping up games. But as a sony fan (not fanboy), I really hate it when other sony fan/fanboys always consider the next ps3 exclusive to be the best game ever. And then they end up making themselves look like fools.
