There are many easy ways to get a lot of gamerpoints.

Here's the easiest one I know of:

Go to Blockbuster (or wherever you rent games from)
Rent Avatar: The Last Airbender
Play for two minutes
Get 1000 gamer points.

Also, google easy gamescore and there is a whole series of articles that list games that are easy to get 600+ points on.
