It seems to suggest there won't be a PS3 price drop in Japan anytime soon. 80Gb PS3 is ¥39,980 ($399 in US), and 160Gb releasing April 16 will be ¥49,980 ($499 in US).

Can not wait to see how this sells. This should be very good for Sony. They should be making a good bit on each one of these sold if they can get the 45nm Cell in there in time. This should also get the PS3 some momentum going into golden week.

They said it about this fiscal year, but this bundle releases next fiscal year. It doesn't rule out a price cut after FFVII ACC bundles have sold out though.

Sell the bundles that will sell-out at full price then drop it a month or so down the line...sounds good to me lol.
