Exactly. Of course, EA isn't known for their flawless PS3 ports either so it's a mixed blessing if true.

bioshock has sold 400K units (@60$)on PS3 which is around $24 million,,,,i doubt the port costing them anythiing above 2million.

I Ea were to make Mass effect 1 and 2 the smartest choice would be to put it on 1 disc like Sega 4 life said but how long would that take.

It only works out at about $12 million in revenue for 2K games once you take out retail costs, shipping, manufacturing, royalties etc.
$12 million is going to be ALOT closer to the games developement costs then the porting costs though and will have seen a tidy revenue boost for the company.
If EA keep Mass Effect Exclusive to the 360 they're probably looking at rejecting a good $60 million+ revenue from PS3 sales of the 3 games. I don't think even Microsoft are going to open their wallet to a figure of that sum, but, who knows?

Mass Effect
Left 4 Dead
Gears of War
If Microsoft doesn't pay big $ to keep Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2 timed exclusives
then all that remains (as far as big exclusives are concerned) is Gears.
but i am probably oversimplifying here. MS has some 2nd party studios which will hold up the exclusive lineup.

Bioshock 2 will be on ps3. SO4 too. Dead rising won't, L4D won't and GoW won't.

All of those except Gears of War, MS will never let that go. And I think Bioshock 2 is already confirmed for the PS3.
