Yeah those were the good days RE remake was 1 of the most underrated games last gen not talking about score, it just wasn't as big as it could of been maybe RE shouldn't  of been remade so quickly should of waited a little longer, or maybe the audience on the GC wasn't into RE

I don't think will see that again mainly b/c if u ask the new crop of gamers witch RE do like like better they will most likely say the new RE4 style they might not like the slower pace of the older ones, the loading screen doors, the puzzles.  Us old timers like myself like the older ones b/c that's wat i grew up with it was the popular thing wen i was younger us older gamers must learn how to adapt much like the RE series adapted the the gamer world

I do think there is potential with this style of RE there were parts in 4 that i liked alot the part were u were in a old cabin and there were hordes of zombies or watever they wer coming in the cabin for every angle of the cabin, and the sounds the Regenerators made that was creepy.  They need to put back the clostrafobia with the rooms and small hallways and darker tone.

It will also be hard for them to make RE like the old ones as now Raccoon City is gone unless they make another place that has the similar feel of Raccoon City Something to Ponder?......

How about you wait for the full game to release? You seriously don't want to skip on this game because it's trying to be a poor man's Gears of War, right?

And what's wrong with Gears of War? What, you guys want more of this:

RUN

RUN BEFORE KYLIEDOG AND BENG-

OH SHIT TOO LATE

I think about 1 in 15 GC owners have REmake. There's not much more you can expect from an uber-hardcore horror game. The GC just didn't sell enough.

REmake alone justified owning a Cube imo, and people with a Wii that haven't played it should definitely play it. It's in my top 5 best games of all time.

I don't know yet for RE5. The demo was ok, but nothing more. I'll definitely buy it and will enjoy the story, but as a preperation I'm now playing Zero and afterwards REmake and I'm so sad that games like that aren't being made anymore. The creepiness, lack of ammo, lack of herbs and above all the incredible level design...RE5 won't come close to the old-school RE's.

Im still sure that RE5 will be a good game, without a doubt the series just evolved in different direction, RE 4 is one of the best games i ever played but going for even more shooting elements can kill whats left of survival horror genre, after seeing screens of enemies on bikes etc. etc. i just feel its not this same anymore but i think it still has a lot of potential.

I hope for RE Wii game as well that would be a bit more true to the original.

plus RE 2 remake with some additional stuff would be sweet.

You shouldn't judge a game based on a demo. I almost didn't buy Valkyria Chronicles because the demo sucked, but it turned out to be a really good game.

I also have lost interest in this game. It was going to be a certain purchase for me when I finally bought a PS3, but now I'm thinking I might try some other/new Survival horror ip
