why would you bring gears of war up in a killzone review?

A) Gears 2 will have been out for months by the time K2 comes out and had a MUCH shorter development period

B) One is a fps while the other is a 3rd person shooter

C) Um gears and K2 aren't the same game or even on the same system so why even bring it up?

Answer: so your review will be posted all over the internet in forums so it gets lots of publicity

Very nice. Buy why make fun of gears?

Why?  Because it isn't about whether or not a game is good, but whether or not every game is a gamechanger.  Killzone 2 apparently has to make Gears 2 look HORRIBLE, or it will be a disappointment.  It has to make every XBox fanboy cry to mommy and think their 360 is as bad as an Atari 2600, and Gears 2 is nothing more than a 3D remake of E.T.
