Forums - Sony - Is there Romance in the story of Persona 4?

I have always been a big fan of romance in video games as I feel that if done right the story benefits alot from it. Now Ive been hearing nothing but great things about Persona 4 and I recently picked it up but I was wondering if there was any Romance in the story...be it in a Romantic Sidequest a la Jade Empire/Kotor or its been cemented as a fundamental part of the story (FFX)

 

So is there a romance story in Person 4 and if so How deep is it ?

I'm not a namby pampy soap opera watcher but there should be more romance in video games.. it lends realism.

I'm glad I'm not the only one like this. but there is something like this. it is somwhat of a dating sim after all. you can date any girl in the game, they all have a story, just beware of dating during sundays. my favorite was Yukiko. she went through alot of shit. I wish there were more of this stuff in videogames...besides FF.

Thanks and yeah romance adds a lot of elements to a story and should be incorporated more in video games
