Fyi, I hate minigames in almost shapes and forms and games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are the death of me. I just like my FPS games to be more than shallow attempts at cheap Asian horror rip-off and bringing back gimmicks that have been done better before (slow-mo in Max Payne games has this beat with one hand tied on its back).

Let's not get into this again, I did not like F.E.A.R (or Bioshock or Crysis or GTA IV) regardless of review scores.

FYI FEAR 1 was first FPS to do slow mo successfully. They have the right to keep using it...where all those other rip offs ripped it off from them.

 

 

I'd like to gree with you  but that's FALSE. Max Payne 1 was the first with bullet time.

FPS my freind...Max was TPS :)

Same shit. There is no difference between a TPS and an FPS other than the fact that TPSes are for the pussies who need the extra help in FPSes.

BTW the PC demo is up. Free of course.

I got it. It kics ass...

360 demo too is impressive. I wonder if they will use that visual filter for the entire game. It took me a bit to get used to it at first...but I'd be cool now if the do.

Hmm, I'll have to check out the PC demo. I can't say I liked the first one that much. The horror elements were spooky, but I can't say I was a fan of the dark and cramped rooms/hallways.

I don't know if this is correct, and I don't know for sure if it's out on Euro PSN, but we don't have Qore over here so they can't release the demo to Qore users only, so if you connect to PSN with a Euro account then you should be able to get the demo.

This is mostly gonna be my benchmark for my computer. I know I can handle Crysis alright, and I run UE3 engine games comfortably, but I just don't know with FEAR 2. God I love demos.
