I enjoyed reading the article.  he has some good points but nothing we have not covered yet.

It's ironic that he's speaking out against fanboy journalists, when he himself is a Sony fanboy.

In fact, he's such a large Sony fanboy, he is incapable of reporting "news" in any way, without spinning it Pro-Sony, thus double irony. The truth is, he's far more biased than most of the villains he attempts to reprimand.

but i think that he does have a point though all the articles i have seen of the ps3 saying is in bad shape are not objective. but then again he is not being objective either but that part he said it is true. but i disagre with him in one part i think that the 360 have a good line up for 09 they have halo wars and halo its a big name. i think too that this bad press of the ps3 should end because in the end is a great console.

WOW! What a fanboy POS article! Fanboys are bad. Fanboys complaining about other fanboys for being fanboys is just horrible to see.

Wait...I thought the journalists were anti-wii fanboys? Now they are anti-PS3 fanboys? Well I guess it's time the industry started hating all those high budget, high production value HD games that they are always praising...wait...what?

Maybe some people just know that PS3 fanboys are easy to wind up? Perhaps if some people grew a thicker skin it wouldn't give some people the incentive to have a laugh at their expense.

See to most normal people, fanboyism is extremely funny, and the PS3 type fanboyism is even funnier than average. See PS3 domination in X year, after X game, after X amount of price cut, even the word domination because you know the Wii is dominating and all that.

Laughter is the best medicine, unfortunately they are clubbing the baby seals (PS3 fanboys) to get it.

If somewhere in that cloud of fanboy hate the author penned a single truism, I would doubt the veracity of that claim, based solely on the stupidity of his argument.

Surprisingly, he did prove his point however; fanboy journalism is rampant in the industry and tarnishes the reputation of all who make their living by writing in this space. It's a shame (yet strangely expected) that he doesn't realize he is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

I'm not saying the PS3 fans don't have anything to bitch about, what with all the doom and gloom stories lately; I just think those same PS3 fans weren't complaining so loudly about the quality of journalism when Sony was riding high and the 360 looked to be flailing. Twas 6 short months ago I think. There is NO difference in the number or spirit of the hate, it's just re-focused it's gaze.

I must be really bored if I took this long to respond though, damn.
