It would be great if you got into Bristol, although they are so far up their own arses. They rejected my friend who got 5 A's at AS. Who do they think they are? Oxbridge?

^ Thats weird, was it an art based subject?, cos they don'y really care about great results, as long as you pass and have a good portfolio they will be interested.

i applied for 3 universities that are close to my area, university of East London, London Metropolitan University and University of Westminister, i already got conditional offer from 2 of them.

the courses i applied for are computer networking, computer engineering and computer science, i will make my final decision when i pass my college course in june.

University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and Kwantlen University-College (at least that's what it used to be known as......now it's Kwantlen Polytechnic University). I went to UBC first, then Kwantlen for 2 years, now I'm back to UBC.

And thatmax, you have to go for interviews? All I had to do was send in an application.....they just accepted me on my grades.

depends on the university you are applying for and your personal statement, some universities just want certain grade and they will let you in, but some are just pain and ask for interview and stuff, luckily i just have to pass my course to get in :)

Well with art based subjects they value a good portfolio over good grades and they like to talk to you about your work so that they can see the inspiration behind it, and whether you have a creative personality etc... I'm not looking forward to it as I'm rarely inspired directly by artists, I just create whatever I feel like lol.
