I second that. Not only are no gun sounds in video games realistic, but you wouldn't want them to be.
Try firing a handgun without ear protection sometime. Once you have recovered from that trauma, do it again, this time in an enclosed hallway.

Bioshock could wind up with a 95%+ average rating. With 8 reviews thus far, Bioshock now has a 98.9% average.
For information, it's the #1 game ALL TIME of the 3000+ games with over 5 reviews.
This game is atleast headed for the top-10 all time list, or atleast that's how it's tracking.
I SURE hope this sells well. We have the real true GOTY winner right here, and people need to know about it!
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
I have been looking forward to this game more than I've looked forward to any game for a LONG time. I've felt the excitement of old, from back when I was a kid. I have high hopes for this game, I hope it doesn't disappoint!

Lol. I understand your pain. Everything I wanted to play that was on my radar has been removed. I have one singular VG goal right now and that is Bioshock. I was all set for Halo 3 but it's not even in my mind at the moment. I can't ever remember playing a videogame (the demo) that so affected me that I can't wait to play it again. (and again) (and again)...
On a side note, have you registered online to track it? You can also call them and they will tell you where in the process it is. Unfortunately, having shipped it on the 10th, it probably has another week to go before they ship it back so you are very likely going to miss opening day. :(

Get a used core from Gamestop. I think you can get one for something like 189 or something. You could also get one oiff of ebay or craigslist cheap but make sure you go local and test it out first. When my 360 was in for repairs, I almost bought a premium off a local guy for $150 (!). He just didn't want it... You can probably find a local deal like that on craigs list if you are in a larger area.

Are you kidding? Have you actually played the demo? The sound quality of the game is amazing. In the dozen or so reviews I've read (and the number of times of played it), sound is never a complaint.

This is another game that I wish I had a 360 for. Sadly I haven't upgraded my desktop in a few years so the requirements are beyond what it can do. I just had to go and buy a laptop! I probably won't get the 360 until next year sometime. I've just got too many expenses right now and not a lot of time to even play what I've got on the Wii & PS3. I spend most of my time playing DS games because they consume my soul. Plus the new Guild Wars expansion comes out at the end of the month and that's the game I've spent the most total time playing.
To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.
