Lol. I understand your pain. Everything I wanted to play that was on my radar has been removed. I have one singular VG goal right now and that is Bioshock. I was all set for Halo 3 but it's not even in my mind at the moment. I can't ever remember playing a videogame (the demo) that so affected me that I can't wait to play it again. (and again) (and again)...
On a side note, have you registered online to track it? You can also call them and they will tell you where in the process it is. Unfortunately, having shipped it on the 10th, it probably has another week to go before they ship it back so you are very likely going to miss opening day. :(
