Yeah I LOVE amazon.co.uk, the German state doesn't get an euro VAT for anything I can get on amazon.co.uk.

30€ for LBP is still cheap though.
Prices here suck ass. For example, Sonic Unleashed is 50€ in Slovenia, while I got it for around 25€ (from UK of course). HotD 2&3 is 30€ here, I got it for around 15-18€, again from UK.
| Son1x said: @Zlejedi You know 18 pounds is like 23€ right? Anyway, yes UK console should work in Germany. You would need the adapter for power cable though. They have the same voltage as well, just different plug in. |
Dito, that's what I was about to say.
You guys in England have a three pin plug as far as I remember whereas we only have two pins, right?
www.games.co.uk might be the adress you should look for if you want to import games and consoles.
Internationla shipping is only 3 pounds, though a credit card is required.
Money spent on gaming in 2009: €130,00

Amazon isn't a fair reflection of the differences between the EU and UK markets. It looks as though German Amazon is simply a rip-off.
On top of that, on Amazon.de I managed to find a new copy of LBP for 32.89 from Amazon Marketplace. So it's not all that bad even there.
Finally, if you go into HMV or Game, which are the two biggest games retailers here in England, most PS3 games will be priced at £39.99-49.99. Yes, Americans, we literally pay nearly double what you do.

I kow, i leave in switzerland but most of the time i order my games from uk, occasionally though i have pay some custom but overall i save something like 50 %.

Prediction: PS3 will have 25 percent of the nextgen console market be end

Yeah, we use 3-pin but the top pin is often plastic because it's used for earthing, which a lot of appliances don't need. Our system is one of the safest in the world, y'see...

Its price was dropped in England to boost sales.

Actually, prices at Amazon Germany are usually lower than at Electronic Stores such as Mediamarkt or Saturn.

IMVHO Mediamarkt (MediaWorld in Italy) and Saturn, after the initial generalized good value to launch the chains, are now good value only if you exclusively buy loss leader items. UniEuro is much better, while Euronics has good offers, but with stocks often too limited (and their offers for the most appealing items apply only to the initial stocks decided for the offers and expire also with restocking, not simply once reached the limit date).
