Of course making a COD exclusive to any system doesn't make sense, but not all third party games sell like COD, in fact do any?! very few.

 

When Microsoft offers these third party devs a lot of money it makes sense. especially if it out weighs what they could potentially make on the PS3, its not as if just bad games flop these days, its never certain for a TPD they will make a profit. Apart from the big name ones of course.

 

So wait were talking about games from small franchises going exclusively to 360? Yeah I doubt Sony give a flying fuck about that when they still have the monsters, pretty sure MS want the big ones only on 360 but that wont happen.

there is a huge difference between praising the competition and starting damaging rumors about the competition.

hypothedical: say we are both interviewing for the same job.  i start a rumor at that company we're interviewing for that you are a pedofile.  would that be fair?  i mean, we are in competion for the same job so obviously i shouldn't praise you but is it fair game to start a false and damaging rumor about you?

Wow, that was awesome. If ms says that they are going to cut the price too if sony drops the price is equal to calling someone a pedofile, you have to be delusional.

 

way to read the story but miss the moral...

He is trying to create a rumor (i.e. no facts upon which to make an argument) that the ps3 will no longer get third party support in the future to get consumers to be scared of purchasing a ps3.  this is basically lible on a business level.  btw, lible "A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person's reputation."

Or does everyone forget how MS paid to have nearly every 3rd party multiplat game not release on GameCube?

microsoft cant make their own shit, look at windows, and how that barely stays together. the only thing they can do is buy buy buy, and that doesnt make it a great system, it just means they were to uninventive to make something unique. no wonder the japs have nothing to do with the xbox.

maybe but its what everyone knows to be true. and thats the problem here. microsoft are buyinig up the market and the developers are becoming all about the dollar value, instead of the quality.

I have been here for a year....I know dodece isn't reliable by now.

The fact is that greenburg is trying to create fear in the minds of the consumers....but as the random person doesn't even read news like this he will most likely fail.
