Pretty much anything Jack Thompson has gone after ranks WAY up there. Maybe he has a point somewhere, but he certainly makes things really suspect.

In regards to the Resistance 1 bit, it is possible that if the developers paid the Church of England, then maybe it wouldn't of been an issue. I think also they Church of England (in a much apparently European thing) objected to the violence in the game.

As far as Celda goes, I think the artistic style is good, and holds up better than trying to do it with polygons. Celda would likely age better than Twilight Princess, for example.

The point he may have is that it would be good if there were alternatives to excess violence and sex in videogames.  MAYBE that is his point, and it might have some validity.  However, he comes off so annoying and ticks everyone off, that only media types who want the muck stirred will contact him.  I wonder if believes God also got him disbarred.

Using a landmark Cathedral (this was no parish church) in this type of game was a big a gaf and they were deservedly lambasted for it. Why they needed to make it look like the Cathedral is a complete mystery to me.

The others I am sure were bollocks. The LBP recall now that might be but I am not an expert on the Qur'an but certainly it was a more legitimate mistake.

i think game companys should just ignore the complaints of the right wing, let them stew, we have to put up with there "beliefs" and "leaders" appering on TV, so they can put up with violence appering in Video Games

Erm no, it sees about 4 soldiers fighting a load of crabs, then fighting about 6 chimaera. Did they even play the level?

This is the only console Zelda game I have never played. I hope it gets a Wii-make like other games are.
