When others were hyping R2, I was going, "Pfft.  Wait for Killzone.  The beta is amazing."

im expecting 9.5 or 9.6....any lower and resistance 2 is supposedly the better game, and that just cant be true...cant it?

I don't think that it on the hype level of halo 3. Halo had a huge pre existing cult following. It was an instant blockbuster the moment it was announced. No game footage was even necessary. Killzone on the other hand has a lot to prove as a franchise

Expecting a 9.6 or 9.7 from IGN. Anything equal to or lower than R2's 9.5 would be a really bad joke.

Then again, I personally don't think R2 even deserves that 9.5

yea your right bout that....We talking bout hype...EVERYGAME WEBSITE IS TALKING BOUT THIS GAME...even the xbox and nintendo website the hype for this game unheard from a game that a crappy prequel....its gon be huge

Anyone remember the days when a 9 was considered outstanding for a game?

IGN is prevented by the embargo from giving any sort of review of the game. They publish a preview article because it is viewed as new Killzone information that will drive hits to the site. Unfortunately, they can only give the good features in the preview. I wouldn't read this an indication of the overall score they will give the game. Let's try to keep the hype low on this so we can all be pleasantly surprised.

Every game site is talking about this game....and a hundred other games. That's why they exist. Their video game journalists. Its their job. If they didn't report this game, their not doing their job. Resident Evil 5 has more hype. That game also has a huge cult following. So does Street Fighter 4.
