Yeah I can't find any Wii shots of games that are on both Wii and PS2 that aren't obvious ports of the GC game.  However, this may help too:

Well your right the difference isn't as obvious on those tiny screens, but even there the texture detail difference is gigantic. Still, your right he probably wasn't trying to troll.

Smash Brothers is a good comparison. Both launch/1st-generation titles, both done by same studio, and by someone who knows the hardware.

I don't see why so many people are stuck up on Wii's graphical abilities. If the Wii is more than twice as powerful as the gamecube as what has been readily reported and Resident Evil 4 was made on the Gamecube then I have absolutely no reason to think a Wii game can't look amazing.

Seeing that Galaxy screenshot, I'm now sure that the Wii's GPU can do parallax mapping.

It's true that I haven't played it for a while, but I'm pretty positive that that "Wii" image of Zelda is fake. The game just doesn't have anywhere close to that level of detail, especially in Link's clothes.
