I dk about Godfather, there isn't enough variety to keep me interested. I played the film missions and then sold it
I think that rumoured GTA in tokyo would be radically different and amazing on Wii. Japan would get a kick out of it too
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
| Declan said: It still seems unlikely to me that Rockstar will get round to doing a GTA:Wii, and as a GC owner I remember having to resort to Simpsons: Hit and Run for my GTA-style kicks. I enjoyed that game a lot though, and it got me wondering whether Nintendo (either through a first- or second-party) should create a similar style game set in the Mushroom Kingdom. Of course, it would be a lot kiddier than a real GTA, but not automatically less fun because of it. Would anyone else buy such a game? And, perhaps more pertinently from a would-be developer's perspective, would a few million? |
You always have "Driver: Parallel Lines." No idea how good (or bad) it is, but it looks similar to GTA.
I'd like to see a Mario survival horror game. Make him piss his pants when he gets scared.
I think a game of a similar style would be cool. I wouldn't want it to be violent like GTA, but something with the same type of gameplay (free-roaming, going around doing missions, etc) would be cool.
