Balthier? Balthier is the best character in FF XII. This guy? this guy is an asshole. Theres a huge difference. The closest relative to him is Vaan, both look like jokes.

I don't see what everyone's problem is. He looks like he belongs in the final fantasy universe. He looks like a kind hearted, against the grain, magic wielder, or he could possibly be a comic relief option. Plus he is developed by a Japanese company and they aren't really crazy about African Americans anyway. I wouldn't knock him until you see his personality and see him in motion. Remember, Final Fantasy isn't a world like yours and mine, its supposed to be a totally different type of culture and his background will most likely warrant how he looks and stands. Don't be so quick to judge. Why have we lost faith in a company who has been doing epic storylines for decades?

Why all this hate? IMO, he looks better that the Mr. T clone that Barret was. And all JRPG have bishonen chars, so him looking fabulous is a cultural difference, not that his gaydar levels are over 9000.

This Afro dude looks to be the best character in the game, he'll be at my party at all times thats for sure.
