Just wanted to confirm whether the Wii sales record for highest sales week ever was incorrect at the time?

I know you don't have to say anything but i would like to know if Wii really did beat PS2

Yea, the NPD results might make it change though depending how drastic a change it is. We'll have to wait and see.

NPD results seem to tend to show higher numbers for Wii than VGChartz so if there is to be an adjustment it would probably be up rather than down again.

what a discovery, the PS2 has actually sold more consoles that the wii.

It the wii has over 2.7 million in dec NPD it will break the record for highest month ever, considering in november the wii was 700k higher than the ps2 had in that record year it seems the demand is there, the question is if they shipped enough to break the record.
