Also do you think that all these budget games will have a positive effect on Wii sales in the future?  I am thinking that they will, as mainstream consumers look at the different consoles, they will see all the cheap games and that will encourage a purchase.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I'll probbaly get Rockstar Table Tennis. Unlikely to get any others unless a friend highly suggests it.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

I'm interested in Dragon Blade, Mercury Meltdown Revolution, and Zack & Wiki. Don't know if I'll have time with all the must-buy titles coming out this year though.

Z&W and Mercury Meltdown are on the top of my list.

Wow, that's a lot. Didn't think stuff like Dragon Blade was going to be offered at budget. Plus, you missed one.

For 30$, it's worth it to say "I own Ninjabread Man." =P

As for your question about sales, I say it's a good thing. One of the big things that annoy me about the HD consoles
was the price of new games going up to $60. It suggests the industry's budget was growing faster than it's market
was, and they had to up the price. After years of expensive cartridge games, it was great when the price came down
to 50$ standard, but it seems like a step back for it to go back up.

I think it's a good sign that things like Mercury Metldown can be offered for $20 at release, and that the Wii seems
to be cheap enough to work on for so many games new/port and otherwise to be offered a variety of price points.
It goes back to Iwata's food analogy. Saying you're not always in the mood for a full three course meal, you might
just want a snack, or a light lunch, or etc. Games like Koronopia was actually a lot of fun, but it's a small short game, so $50 really isn't worth it. Mercury Metldown sounds a lot like Koronopia, except it is being offered at 40% the price, so I think it could fare a good bit better.

Also, just for me this is good. There are actually titles on they're that I'm generally interested in, but not sure I'd
pay full price for them. Now it turns out a lot of them won't be.

Wow. I'm impressed at just how many games are going to be relatively cheap. Should bring a lot of sales.

Z&W for certain. Maybe DragonBlade, Table Tennis, Cruisin and Galaxy Wars

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I didn't forget NBM (Ninjabread Man), I had it where I originally posted this list. These titles are just from EBgames.com there are actually another dozen or so coming from Conspiracy Games (makers of NBM).

I think PSP ports, casual and crappy games (Alien Syndrome, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Boogie, Big Brain, Elebits, Dewy etc.) would sell many times better at 20-40 bucks.

Z&W is certain for me, too. Notice the bold, italic, and underlining. Indy Legends and Cruisin' may be good, I like racing. Also Dragon Blade and some of the deeper ones.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I hope they change the price of Mecury Melt down in the UK, I like the look of the game but it's £39.99 at the moment a full price game ($80 ish). I was thinking about paying £29.99 there are some shops selling it at that but if it became £19.99 it would ba a must have.

Just Zack & Wiki for certain. A few of the other bolded ones look interesting but none of the non-bolded ones do.

Definitely Zack and Wiki, and maybe Geometry Wars and Table Tennis.
