A bit of a rant so be warned..

So, I quicked joined and everything went fine for a couple rounds. On No Mercy 3, everything went wrong. Our team were survivors first, and lost quickly after our team made some bad decisions after an early tank. So it's the other team's survivor phase, and shortly after entering the fast food place we get our tank. They lose one person but manage to regroup and heal. Then they start doing the door exploit (It allows them to skip about 1/5th of the level). They get though the door and my team is pissed. About 30 seconds later, someone on my team somehow spawns an army of hunters (6 or 7 of them), the rest of the survivors die, and everyone else is now cussing or throwing out durogatory racial remarks. Wow.

There are a bunch of exploits that turn a good game into a mess so fast. People get back at the other team for exploiting by exploiting themselves or qutting. People have done/tried the door exploit on NM3 so many times, and it seems like more people are doing the instant respawn exploit in versus. I hope they fix these soon.

I hope that they fix these exploits quickly because I have encountered some of them after not playing for a while and they completely ruin the game.

Valve is good at fixing holes quickly, wouldnt be shocked if the next patch fixes them all.

OT: Where the hell is the TF2 update and HL2:Ep3.

Really? They are?

I've encountered tons of exploits in TF2. I don't use them, and as I play on a very little competitive server, I haven't seen anyone else either. The exploits include

Changing your appearance, while remaining your weapons. This lets you be a sniper with 200hp, looking like a Soldier. You can also be a scout with a minigun, which is pretty damn overpowered (he doesn't even decrease speed while spinning), or a scout fast pyro.

Shooting through walls. On dustbowl, you can shoot a rocket into a wall, making it go out through a wall in the enemy's spawn (the defence's spawn). Works with stickies or anything as well.

and there's a few more I don't remember.

I think melee spam is a problem that should be solved ASAP too

and I also think that it's been a while since we had the last update, if I had to guess I'd say that trying to get new stuff at the same time on the PC and the X360 is slowing Valve.

on the l4d forums, someone posted a screenshot of an email from chet (from VALVe) which more or less said that a patch for lots (hopefully all) glitches and exploits is coming out within a week. They are kinda annoying but they will be gone soon, most likely.

Yeah, the one I keep encountering is in No Mercy where the zombies block exiting the elevator with the generator. Ruins the game.

I don't mind it, think of it as a short cut. it really only cuts one big zombie spawn point out. What pisses me off are the lvls the forklift and generater get blocked in the doors...
