Imagine some company happens to want to license VGChartz.com for a videogame, and the owners of the site agree, seeing it as a way to make some extra coin, and get more attention for the site. If such an agreement were to be worked out, what do you see as the best idea for a VGChartz videogame? I see some ideas (listed below), but curious what you think would be best. As far as these go, I see these as ideas:
1. A game where you run a videogame company and compete against other companies for market share.
2. A game where you run the VGChartz site and try to get more members to sign up. You can have VGChartz type sites battle each other.
3. A game where you VGChartz acts as a virtual game world, and people siding with one faction or another (console) and battle to win debates. Presentation and gameplay would be a cross between Valkyria Chronicles and Killzone 2. Perhaps the artistic style of VC rendered with the KZ2 engine, or visa-versa.
4. Like 3, but it is a fighting game, involving major posters as brawlers, and they try to deliver the beatdown against one another.
5. A game like Puzzle Quest. Not sure how it works, but (rather than cowbell) we need more Puzzle Quest!
