Alright... This is beyond awesome. Blizzard is holding a vote to see which model for dark templars should be used for MP matches. Basically just how the unit looks/talks etc. The mechanics will be the same of course.

The second ones portrait reminds me of predator which I don't like. I also don't like the dual bladed scythe idea, but their attack stance is ok.

I greatly prefer the first one, but it couldn't hurt to have both. Someone made a good suggestion on the forums that, since it's only a skin issue, it could be something toggled in a preferences menu. If you only want to see one of them, you could select it.

Yeah i liked that suggestion best ass well. At first I thought that the teeth and all were the actual protos in the 2nd one and thought WTF. After reading the description it makes a lot of sense now so I'm fine with it. The problem I have with both however is that the blades are just too short... They look about the same size as a zealot's, and they used to be longer before.

I can't vote, not a member of their forum, but I would choose both.

I don't particularly like either. I think the first looks like a one-blade zealot and the second looks downright weird. Oh well..
