Forums - Sony - How to control volumen in PS3 games?

Hi,

I just buyed Sennheiser HD-555 headphones, they are great but without volumen control.

I wanted to use PS3 with monitor which have audio ouput for 3.5mm jack. But again no volumen control, is there any option in PS3 to control volumen?

thanks

Some games let you do it in their options menu, but there's no way to do it universally.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I bought a usb headset for talking online, and there doesn't seem to be any way to turn down the volume. It's grand most of the time but when some whiney loud kids are on R2 it's like ARRGHHH JESUS! and I have to rip the headset off my head. Aren't there any options in the menu for headset volume? All I can find is mic volume control.

Afaik you can get a jack adapter that has a volume control switch on it. I'll go see if I can find it anywhere on teh interwebz

small fix.

Also, if you can find something like this in spain you would be good.

However, I'm sure you can find cheaper ones on Amazon/ebay or similar sites.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Yeah, ebay has some dirt cheap ones so I'd wonder would any of them affect sound quality? Or does such a simple resistance based piece of electronics make little difference to the sound. Whichever one you'd be buying though high or low quality they're all nice and cheap. I'd reccomend getting a splitter/volume adapter jack.

MGS4 have volume control, but it doesn't make any difference. Its still to high for my ears.
