Try testing your RAM. Open up your case and take out all your RAM. Then test it with one stick in at a time. May also want to make sure your video card and RAM is seated fully into the motherboard.

Although i wish i found out that was the problem earlier since the whole process took me around 3 hours to figure out. |
i once had ram problems.. only i didn't know it was ram so i ended up buying motherboard, processor and a new power supply.. only to borrow a ram block after a few weeks to find out that was the problem -_-
The first step is always to isolate... disconnect everything that doesn't need to be connected... HDD.. DVDs everything... if all you fans are moving and you HDD light is flashing and you don't hear a series of beeps when you boot up it's likely your video card... though generally no video will cause the system to give a series of beeps to... unless you build it yourself and it doesn't have a speaker. If you system's fans come on, but it's not booting at all even after you tried and new video card it's probably your power supply... generally power supplies go out after a few years depending on who made them. It's always hard to help someone on a forums in this manner because I can't get a clear picture of what's going on.
