Forums - General - Discussion: Terrorism, Israel, Hamas, etc

I've just found something
I knew this long before but only by the Arabic media so I knew u guys wouldn't have taken it seriously if I posted
but to my surprise I found this video which is coming from CNN
so Israel is not innocent and the possibility that they were the first to break the cease fire first is very high if not 100%

what other explanation -spinning- can u give me now? how can we be sure that Hammas was the first to break the deal?

because obviously I was wrong when I thought that white phosphorus was forbidden in highly populated areas , it's used to SAVE civilians I should be thankful

The tunnel broke the ceasefire... no?

If someone were to start tunneling under me to try and get under my defenses... that would be considered an act of war.

gazans were violating the cease fire first week in. about once week they would fire rockets and israel would close the crossings for a couple days.

ICRC said it wasnt being used inappropriately.   so your -spinning- fails.

Who here has read the Book "The Road to Mecca" by Muhammad Asad(a former Austrian Jew who converted and wrote the book in 1954)? It is really good and shows basically from a pro--arab perspective what happened to the near/middle east post wwi. Puts things in perspective since we generally are borderline fellating Isreal.

Hammas was committed for 2 months and the blockade was never lifted , how is that not breaking the ceasefire????

then when hammas does something about it, they are the ones who look bad.

I did state many times that I'm against what Hammas does -targeting civilians- and starting useless wars but I never said that they are 100% the guilty ones and I never commented on the fact that Israel took Palestinian lands to build their country and that their may be a chance that what hammas wants is justified.

the problem here is u refusing to see that Israel should be blamed too because simply u can't see them as the bad guys for some reasons I don't know about,

so here is the thing , the government that invaded Iraq and terrorized the innocent people there are 100% supportive to what Israel does there ,

that government was 200% wrong and guilty at what they did in Iraq , can't there be a chance that supporting what Israel does now is wrong ? isn't there a chance that they are the bad guys at what's happening now?? at least a little??

u are talking about Israel and America -so do alot of vgcharters- like they are the angles of peace or the peace makers and refuse to accept that there may be a chance that Israel and Hammas -both of them- are wrong.

Another great book is

A History with Documents
5th edition

Dr Smith is the department head at the Univesity of Arizona's Near Easter Studies department. The book has more detail and actual documents that any other book I have read.

 Thanks! I'll check that out.

It's hard to call something a ceasefire when one side has complete dominance over the other, and when during the ceasefire the land in question is being left without electricity and fuel, with a complete blockade around it.
