Kirby 64 was only made good by that colored platform dropping mini-game.
The only reason my friends and I ever put that game into the 64 was to play that mini-game because it was stupidly fun.

I just completed it few days ago. I loved the Bomb + Boomerang combination, it pwned.
| Oyvoyvoyv said: I liked the GBA ones better. Kirby 64 was a bit too slow paced. You had ages of time to plan what to do, and the enemies weren't any harder (actually easier?) than on the GBA.
It was also insanely short. I spent like, what... 30 hours on the previous Kirbys? This one was less than 10 hours... |
I had figured you would get through the other Kirby games in roughly the same time, except for maybe Super Star Ultra (which I may never finish completely - two of its modes are hard).
Still, I enjoyed Crystal Shards. This sounds silly, but the ice-skating power and the refrigerator power were two of my favorites.
One of my favorite games on the N64. Not much of a challenge anymore but when I was younger I spent hours looking for the Crystal Shards.
My favorite power combo was Cut+Bomb. Exploding ninja stars ftw
