I think you're discounting your own observations too fast Squilliam. The fact that the 360 has won each year is significant... It means that Microsoft is able and willing to counter Sony's moves.

Some would say this could not be the case due to the price difference getting smaller (assuming the same price cuts percentage wise), but Sony is unlikely to cut prices soon, leading to a likely 2009 victory for the 360. After that Microsoft should have a lot of momentum, and the ability to cut prices by a lot, getting the 360 to PS2 price levels. Even if Sony starts winning 2010 and later years, it will be very hard to erase the gap that Microsoft is building.
