Killzone sold more in Europe than in North America. It even had a Collector's Edition exclusive to Europe.

Europeans seem to like the series more, though I suppose European devs would know a thing or two about making a FPS their people would be more interested in.

Plus, SCEE is far more bundle-happy than SCEA.

Doubt it, European currencies have also weakened against the Yen. It's so bad that Sony had to raise prices on most of its products in Europe.
