Now, why didn't Nintendo add these features to the Wiimote? hm.
What an amazing wii-wand from nyko, the little gun attachment was also pretty nifty. The wand also looks much better then the wii-mote and this appears to have an amazing d-pad aswell. If only Nintendo would learn to make such great products as this.
so because of this "transport tech" the "wand" is the only controller that is compatible with the gun add on and the keyboard they are making about?
good idea but its sure to fail if they cant make it work with nintendo's wii mote..
hello how are you.
For people saying "Why wasn't this included in the orginal Wii remote", the Classic Controller functions in the exact same fashion. Attaches to the Wii Remote and buttons on it can be used on it work in the same fashion as they would on the remote.
Looking at the Wand, I'm guessing Nyko is going out of their way to avoid another lawsuit after the whole Kama debacle, and in the process of designing their own remote, figured out they can capitilze on this lesser used feature.

and on top of that.. the wii mote adds buttons while using the classic contoller.

I assume the reason "the wand" won is simply it double as a smoke detector.

actually they act differently. the wiimote gun uses mechanics whereas the wand uses digital information.

I didn't say gun I said CLASSIC CONTROLLER, which performs the same way as the Wand's add-ons. Nintendo's own add-ons are just shells probably because they wanted to keep costs down.
