I'm fine with no CO-OP as long as the story is really good, and a decent length. There have been plenty of FPS games without CO-OP that were fantastic. Bioshock and HL2 to name a couple.

Slightly off topic but I find it amusing how many sites knock a game for lack of multiplayer.
I have live gold and seldom use it. Why? because I suck at it.
So solo play is my most important aspect of every game anyone else the same?

It's funny what you said. Multiplayer is the main reason most Wii games get points sliced off. Even if they happen to have multi, the reviewers say that it's still not good enough compared to to psn and live.

But all in all i agree with you, that a game shouldn't be judged by the multiplayer aspect. If title is a type made for parties, then sure, but in shooters, it's more important for me for the SP mode to be addicting.
