Forums - Sony - Saving up for a PS3. Few questions before I buy...

1. Expect a price cut to be announced early April. Only 50 GPB tho.

2. Burnout Paradise and Ratchet and Clank. You might want to try GTA IV

3. No idea about Blu Rays.

Oh yes! Oh could I forget about Folklore! It's awesome and only $30 at Gamestop.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

There's plenty of CASUAL games on the PS Store! if by "Nintendo-like games" you meant that! PS store has a lot of very good, cheap and fun casuals, comparatively just as great as many titles available for the Wii or DS priced quite a lot more than 10 bucks!

Don't expect a price cut anytime soon from a company badly impacted by the greatest recession in decades.

Don't troll again.

OT: He is right about there being good, cheap, and fun games on the PSN!  Quest for Booty is 5 hours of fun for only $14.99!

As you may know, I have been a longtime Nintendo Fanboy for all of my life. However, the recent PS3 exclusives have been catching my eye, and "teh blu-rayz." I had a few questions before I purchase it......

1. How likely is the price drop rumor going to happen? A simular scenerio happened when I bought a DS phat, the DS lite was announced a few months latter, and when I finally got enough for a lite, the DSi was announced a few months later.

2. What games would you recommend? I am already getting Motorstorm 2, Uncharted, and LBP. This is my first PlayStation console ever, and I like Nintendo-type games.

3. Same as #2, but for Blu-Ray. I already plan to get Dark Knight, and I like action, comedys, and drama.

1. Unlikely IMO

2. Nintendo type games = Ratchet Q4B, Ratchet FTOD, Folklore, Buzz Quiz TV, Singstar, LBP, Lego games, Sonic Unleashed, etc

3. Action = Live Free or Die Hard, Transformers, Ironman, Batman Begins, 300, I am Legend, Hancock, etc

Comedy = Superbad, Old School, Pineapple Express, Hot Rod, Wedding Crashers, Stepbrothers, Tropic Thunder, etc

Drama = Lucky Number Slevin, No Country for Old Man, The Departed, Sin City (import), The Godfather, Usual Suspects, etc

1. I'd guess near the end of the year but god knows with sony

2. Ratchen & clank, Mgs4 just for the awesomeness, Valkyrie chronicles.

3. Action = Die Hards, Forbidden kingdom, Resident evil (Milla Jovovich looks great in HD =] )
Comedy = Kung Fu hustle

1. I highly doubt it.
2. I never played MGS before 4, but I got it anyways because it was exclusive. (Go figure.) And it was really fun too. You may as well look into it, cause you get flaunt your manliness by saying you played it. (Go figure on that one too.) My only recommendations for your "Nintendo Type" games would be Ratchet & Clank and Folklore. If you wanna try for shooters though, you should get Resistance 2.
3. Wall-E? I just got it, haven't watch it yet, but I've heard good things about it.
