Of course. But I didn't state that the 360 version of Call of Duty 4 outsold Halo 3. I said that the game outsold. Which it did. My only point is that Call of Duty is now a bigger franchise being that CoD4 outsold Halo 3 and World at War is looking to do the same.

I'm not arguing that MW2 is going to steal sales from Halo as they appeal to different people as most hardcore Halo fans hate CoD and vice versa. I do think Halo: ODST will most likely outdo  the 360 version of CoD:MW2, but overall no.

i did not say that, but it wont outsell COD5. Halo 4 will.

Dude COD is a multiplatform franchise!!!!!!!!

Halo is a exclusive series to the Xbox 360!!!!

It's good that Call of Duty outsold the Halo 3 only because it was a multiplatform. What we should be arguing about is a exclusive outselling a exclusive. Not a multiplatform game beating a exclusive.

i dont think that there will be huge competition, ODST will likely be released in sept(like halo 3) and Cod during Nov, considering ODST will be cheaper and there could be a little bit of Cod fatigue(i hate annualized franchises), ODST will sell better on 360 but Cod6 will just outsell it in multiplat.

Most people I see comparing sales, seem to forget/ignore that COD4 is multiplatform while Halo 3 is 360 exclusive. This reminds me of the whole MKWii vs GTAIV. Many people (on Gamefaqs mind you, a site I don't take seriously :P) were saying "if you combine the sales, GTAIV owned the **** out of Mario Kart" (although ironically now, assuming the numbers on this site are correct, MKW has outsold GTAIV total :P)...
It's stupid to compare sales of an exclusive vs multiplat. What you should actually do is take the fraction of copies sold/units sold of what console you can play it on. Mind you both the Halo and the COD franchise are excellent shooters, so I hope both do well :D
