this game is released in Q4 2009 around the time COD :modern warfare 2 will come out.

do you think this will effect its sale?will it be other way around?(halo effecting COD?)

I think Halo will sell more. The only thing is that COD is multiplat. so I gotta give this one some thought.

Eh, Call of Duty is already a much bigger franchise than Halo. I don't see why this would be any different.

Well, CoD4 outsold Halo 3. So that argument is out the window. WaW is going to pass Halo 3 as well.

I'd imagine most fans of these games will just buy both. Halo will outsell the 360 version of COD, but not by as much as I think some people would think.

I do not think that COD is bigger than Halo, that is ridiculous. I do think that COD:MW2 will make Halo sell less than it would if it had no competition.

But it is. Halo 3 sold ~9 million whereas CoD 4 has sold ~ 11 million. It's not ridiculous. It's a fact.

I think so, COD is a great game if Infinity ward puts out another hit it will defintly effect Halo sales but Halo will also effect COD sales the people that have the money will buy both and some will have to make a choice.

COD would be a great catch for Sony as a month exclusive to compete with Halo.

Do you seriously believe that crap?  If halo3 were released on the same systems as COD had been it would have easily sold 15 million units.  It is an excuslive anyways so it is like comparing apples to oranges.    

COD:MW2 will cause it to lose a few sales, but don't you know all us 360 owners are mindless zombies who only buy halo stuff?
