I'm just wondering, now that Factor5 got in the blackhole and Kid Icarus was likely to debut on the Wii, AND factor5 was a developer that would tap Wii capabilities... What will happen to this game??? Canned ? :s

How many IGN (Huge) Rumors come true? Not many! IGN is not to be trusted!

Its a Nintendo franchise, odds are if Nintendo wants it made it will get made.

IGN often blab info before they should, it's quite possible they thought the game was much further along than it was, and could easily have since been cancelled.
A game I'm developing with some friends:
www.xnagg.com/zombieasteroids/publish.htm
It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
seriously ign has been saying kid Icarus was in development since like 2006.
first Nintendo was going to show it at e3 2007 then they pushed it back..
i wont believe it till i see it.
hello how are you.
i always took the rumors from IGN as just them making a hype for a non existant game and use this hype to make Nintendo think "hmm maybe we should make a Kid Icarus game"
Given the dual vertical screen layout of the DS, I think Kid Icarus would work better on the DS as a 2D platformer to be honest.

hmmm I think I would like that better then one for the Wii.
I think people wanting this so badly for the Wii are just Zelda hungry.
