Samus as number one? lol?

Anyway, I don't like these lists in general but Bridget from Guilty Gear should be number one even though he's not even a woman cause the character represents the best mockery of the whole thinking video game women are sexy by being a crossdressing boy in a nun outfit...

You forgot two things with a game like WoW specifically. If you are a female character in WoW you are more likely to get help/stuff from people in the game (for the reason that maybe some people assume you're a girl or something lol)

Second, I don't buy the simple explanation about guys prefer looking at a girls' behind rather than a guy's and that's why they are choosing to be female characters. It has something to do with what looks cooler.

As an example, a female night elf rogue in WoW looks a lot cooler than a male one and thus is a cooler character that is more appealing to choose. On the other hand, you rarely ever see female orcs because they look like a joke character...

Since a game like WoW has a lot to do with gearlust (getting high level gear that adds to your character and makes him/her look better and 'cooler') people do tendo to choose class/race combos based on what they think looks cooler a lot of the times.

WoW players should know what I'm talkng about. But yes, video games are definitely packed with stereotypical sexy female characters, that's why Bridget the crossdressing nun is so awesome, if you didn't know the background story, he would make a list of 'hot' video game characters but it's a guy lol...

I've never thought of video game women as sexy. Sure, I can look at them and deduct that the character is suppose to be sexy, but there isn't any emotional 'sexiness' to them.

As for playing females in RPGs, I just tend to mix it up. I don't play the same class every time, so why the same gender? (Note: I don't play online, so I don't really know how playing a different gender affects other players reactions).

What about Lara? More importantly, where is Princess Peach!?!

The girl in Eternal Darkness is pretty hot.

I don't wanna offend anyone but this so lame "sexy video gaming women" yawn....

Mona Sax from Max Payne gets my vote.

List fails due to lack of Jade, KOS-MOS (even if she's technically not a woman), and more FF girls lol. Samus at number one is a good pick though imo, as are the rest of the top 5.

One of the things I've always liked about videogames is the sheer number of female characters who kick ass. Sure, there are the usual demeaning bimbos, but there are also some stellar female roles, in fact I think strong women are more common in games than in action films. Anyway, the top five on my list, in order of increasing hottitude:


5. The Boss, a.k.a. the Joy (MGS3). Tough, tragic and compelling.

4. Rikku (FF 10). Doesn't get enough lines, but lights up the story whenever she appears.

3. Lady (DMC3). Worthy counterpart for Dante's third adventure.

2. Alyx (Half Life 2). The Resistance's best shot and the Combine's worst nightmare. Though I keep wondering when Gordon is going to actually ask her out...
