Forums - General Discussion - Why Do Girls Love Text Messages So Much?

I swear, I have met a handful of girls in my lifetime who aren't obsessed with text messages.  They seem to prefer it to actual communication sometimes.  I text occasionally, but pretty much the only reason I do it is because the ladies love it so much.  Can anyone explain to me why girls are obsessed with texts?

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Sure, It's a way to express certain intense feelings/emotions, without having to actually face the person.

It's funny how they prefer to talk about a topic on text messages instead of calling.

I mean, i understand that maybe you don't want to call for some reason, but when i'm don't want or am too lazy to make a call i won't send a text message neither.

They text you because all girls secretly get a commission from cell phone companies off of the fees men pay to text them back.

Average girls have over 3000 words a day.
so if they don't have anyone to talk to, they will text.

Actually there was a pretty recent study done that said the difference between the amount of words a guy and girl say in a day is negligible.
