Yeah, it's easier to make shovelware like that MySims Racing crap... right?
EA are still one of those developers not taking the Wii seriously...

All developers do that on the Wii. It makes them a bit of cash to help fund blockbuster titles like Dead Space for the big boys

what would be the point of using a low budget high profit game to fund a high budget low profit game??? If anything they will reinvest it into the Wii... unless they are really running a business... Just a hardcore catering service.

That would be the logical thing to do. The third parties have been bad about focusing on hardcore games rather then where the money is at.

Really? I didn't know that if you put time and effort into a game you would have a better shot at succeeding. Haha I guess with all those NFS, FIFA, and Madden games still selling so well EA was blinded by it.

But they've shown it can work with Nerf, Boom Blox, Tiger 09 All Play, and MySims all being of very good quality. All of these games are selling quite well.

They don't want to piss off the people who will always be there to buy more games and crave deeper experiences, either. That blue ocean could dry up next gen if people decide they're happy with just the old Wii and Wiisports.
