Forums - Nintendo - Top Ten WiiWare games in 2009

It's a pretty good list, a lot of them I didn't even know about.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I want Cave Story and Eternity's Child.

its good that the gameplay is getting retooled by another developer for wiiware. It was a cool looking game until reviews started rolling in.

Outside of Liight , Cave Story and Evasive space, those other 7 look like must have titles. Ive been interested in LIT for a while now. Looks like fun

Cave Story is full of win.

Wow, a lot of those titles look amazing. I didn't even know these kind of games were coming. I'm definately going to get Cave Story.

Currently Playing: Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Smash Bros for Wii U

Predictions:

Super Mario Galaxy will pass Super Mario 64 in total sales CORRECT!

"Animales de la Muerte" Looks fucking awesome.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Here are my thoughts on the games hat I liked:

Evasive Space - OOOHHH look at all the pretty colours.
Swords & Soldiers - Looks awesome but kinda slow for my liking.
Icarian Kindrid Spirits - Looks like it could rival Kid icarus.
Last Flight - Reminds me of No More Heroes. :D
Cave Story - Awesome music, WTF gameplay.
Snowboard Riot - Reminds me of Snowboard Kids. :D
Eternity's Child - Nice art style.
Animales De La Muerte - Colourful graphics but with plenty of violence. :D

Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.
