The handheld shooter bridges the plot between the two PS3 Resistance games, with players taking the role of former British Marine James Grayson, as mankind sets about retaking the European continent from the Chimera.

Eight player multiplayer is promised, with five game modes making up the roster.

Looks interesting, is it third person?

This will be the 1st PSP game I have bought in a year, it looks really good, and yes I do beleive it is third person.

I'd like to know what the Chimera do about Europe considering that they go after Iceland not long after the events of the first Resistance and then decimate North America two years later.

@ illegal: have you played co-op in resistance2? If so, check out some of the introduction pages you get to read while waiting for the game to load. They have some information on what the chimera and cloven are doing in the world. It may even lead up to R3 filling in the blanks.

It would be cool if they showed the Cloven in this game and then had them as a major feature in R3. It has been driving me nuts not seeing anything about these guys other than whats in the intel that you find laying around from the first 2 Resistence games. What they mention is cool but I NEED to know more!!!!
