MS does not have 17mil gold members, thats just accounts, i think they said paying members is around 50%.  And who knows how much they really get per account.  The cost of the 1year cards are all over the place depending on where you shop, 40-80 dollars for the cards is common place cross the world.

We also assume that Sony gets 25$ of each game sold.

So, that's 400K extra.

Home is earning equally much money as a Ps3 (exlusive) that sells 1.5M.

This is a rough estimate though, and I'm sure someone could point out the flaws.

Still - it's definitely a success.
