Do ya know what would be amazing for that? EA Sports tournaments being held there. Stuff like Madden 09, NHL 09, with the live game feeds being broadcasted on the T.Vs there. That would be amazing, I really... Really hope to see something like that.

That's the potential of home, so far. It looks amazing and can only get better. Keep it up Sony! This is how ya get back in the race!

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?

nice.. cool stuff :P Hope they make you able to launch their games in multiplayer, and make a "normal" game area, ie one not related to sports.

Check out my game about moles ^

Here is another video that gives a more in depth look at the EA sports Complex in Home.

@Swarley

I just checked out that video. Thats really impressive! I hope more game companies utilize Home like EA is doing. This is what Home was supposed to be all along, but PS3 haters were too drunk on Hatorade to see the potential.

  Tifa got MOVES!

awesome,,,most companies should do the same,,,and some EA tournaments should be done through home and get a trophy to hang in your apartment in home ;).

Sport tournaments could be really cool, that's a very interesting idea.

Hopefully though you wouldn't have to wait 10 minutes before you can play a game *cough* arcade *cough* bowling *cough* pool...

^^^^have you tried the redbull air race?no waiting there

how do you try the red bull air race... is there a red bull space in home?

Anyways, I have not tried home in a few weeks, this info alone is enough to get me back on to download updates and new spaces.... maybe.

But it looks awesome, the multiple floors and everything. Looks terrific, the more leader boards the better. It gives replayability to Home. I think what was shown automatically makes HOME one of the best, (if not the best) multiplayer poker environment in videogames.

Now that is not saying a whole lot, but it is a definite start. They should make custom leagues where there are teams created for football, basketball, baseball, hockey, etc. Then the teams will face each other in select EA sports titles, with all of the logistics being worked out in HOME.

The players would meet, sign up for a team spot, then their records would be kept on public bilboards. Before games start both teams meet at the "home court", then game launch into the EA sports title. Constant streaming videos of the game are broadcast across all servers in home, like Nightstriker said.

After the game is over they are dumped back into home to congratulate/trash talk one another.

Playoffs would eventually be held.

Only one or two online games at a time, so the Servers could stream the videos of some sort of online sports game at ALL times. If there had to be a delay so it could properly send all the data of a video with 10 different online players at once.

Only NBA 2K9 offers 5 on 5 when it comes to basketball. There could be alternates on the bench incase certain peoples connection times out.

I could go on forever. Endless possibilities.

The NBA champs could get unique trophies to put in there HOME space that tie in directly with the PSN trophies some how. ... wow
