Firstly i apologize if there's a thread about this long ago or such.  But i want to know how all us gamers here prefer to play their games. Such as...

- playing all alone

- playing alone but online with friends or random people

- playing with a single friend for some co-op fun

- playing with 2 or more friends (some sport games can go up to 8 players)

etc...

I personally enjoy playing games that have are at least 3 players. I have 2 older bros and i was the youngest so growing up with 2 player games would leave me out most of the time lol.  I enjoy playing games with the company of others,  it just makes the game more exciting, getting to share the experience.  Growing up, one of my best gaming experience was playing Secret of Mana on the SNES with the multitap (not only the game was amazing but it was 3 players just right for my bros and I). How about all of you?

I prefer playing alone or with people I know (coop or competitive). I'm not a big fan of playing random people online. I guess I'm just too old school.

Depends on the game.

I prefer the company of someone close rather than online if possible though.

I don't like chatting to random people, no idea why I just can't do small chat. However playing online where you don't need a team (I.E you're playing for yourself) is great.

Playing with friends can't be beaten though.

Slow and painful, I enjoy suffering, curling up into my ball and weeping beside my couch. That's why my favorite game is E.T.

Just kiddin', I enjoy a fun experience without too much back story and cut scenes. Oh, how I hate cut scenes. I skip them all the time, anything that takes too long and distracts from the game play itself is a big negative in my books.

Strangely enough, interactive cut scenes I do like.

I enjoy playing games on their hardest difficulty levels most of the time, and then my brother or a friend comes and watches me play (and be like "OMGWTFBBQ how did you do that?"). We play co-op as well, when we have the chance to.

I like to play in a dark room, on my couch right in front of my HDTV with some soda or coffee (it's hardcore!!11), with the subwoofer and sound at high.

Playing games is like a religious ritual to me! xD

... You play games almost exactly like I do. (Minus the Subwoofer, I only use that during rockband 2).

Thats it, I'm coming over! From Edmonton to... where-ever you are, I'll just head east. Everyone seems to be east of us.

Depends of the game. a few months ago I would have said playing alone. But now, with the online stuff on the ps3 and the great online games... I like both of em! Right now, I enjoy playing some R2 online. But my ultimate gaming experience is when I buy a new FF. I try to be home alone, then I play it 5-6 hours in a row and that's soooo good. But well, I always need four things when I play playstation:

- being alone
- cigarettes
- coffee
- bottle of water

No subwoofer = Blasphemy! D:

Playing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Battlefield: Bad Company and Metal Gear Solid 4 with one was orga...orgas.. orgassmicx! ...Yeah!

And as always, every gamer should have one of these in their livingroom to enjoy their games, because if you don't! Your not one of us!

Now thats how the TRUE gamer experiences their videogames.
