Forums - General - My real life Phoenix Wright adventure

Wife is a court clerk, and she made me drive her to the courthouse so she could process some mail. No one else was around as superior court wasn't in session.

So, big empty court room......

Dare I sit in the Judges chair?

Dare I play with his gavel?

Dare I yell "Objection!" from the defence's podium?

Dare I yell" Over ruled! Sit down Mr. Wright or I will penalize you"

I dared, and it was fun.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

LOL, did you do the finger, too?

Yeah, I did the classic Phoenix objection with finger pointing. Then "the evidence clearly shows" tapping hand motion.

I then went back to the judges seat and played with the gavel some more. I expected a much nicer and fancier gavel though. There wasn't even a wooden block to hit with it. Maybe since all of the judges travel to different courts, they bring their own special gavel with them.

Bring your wife in to give you 'psychic advice', whilst wearing unacceptable clothing for a courtroom.

next time, bring your digicam

and dress in suit with the spikey hair.

I did suggested sex in the courtroom. That's when she made me help her with the mail.

Even if you used law based innuendo to lure her into sex like 'I want you to pound my gavel'
